Diabetes… when we hear this word our mind strikes the word sugar. Of course, when the sugar content of our body increases the diabetes occurs. Many studies around the world say that, according to the world report the level of diabetes patients are more than AIDS and cancer. How poor it is to hear. It may sometimes cause blindness, kidney failure, amputation, heart failure, stroke etc.

Why diabetes??? when you intake any food the food is converted into sugar or glucose. Then the pancreas spells out insulin. This insulin flows throughout the body and opens the cells of our body. When our cells got opened the glucose enters into the cells for energy input of our body. This is the basic phenomenon. But when the insulin is not secreted there occur diabetes.

There are types of diabetes:

  1. Type 1/ insulin dependent diabetes
  2. Type 2 /non insulin dependent diabetes
  3. Gestational diabetes (occur in case of pregnancy)

If we want to be out of diabetes or control the level, the main important medicine to take is disciplined food. Only disciplined food in our life, struggle for us to lead a full healthy life. Then our job to worry for life will be over. Let me share you some ideas. What are the foods that can be taken by diabetes patients???

Remember one thing, food is not a punishment. It’s a boon but we have to use that boon usefully. World is surrounded by many goods and bads. Choose the best for best life not just life.

  • WATER; Don’t under estimate the power of water. It’s pure and slow medicine for our safe balanced life and reduces the risk. You must drink more water you can. At least 2 litres a day.
  • Vegetables are our best friends of our body with so many nutrients. It is rich in vitamins, good source of fibers. You must have lots and lots of vegetables. Green vegetables are best of all.
  • Fruits same like vegetables. It will give more nutrients like vegetables. But to the note it’s also contains sugar. May it is natural sugar, but to be consumed in a limited amount and avoid fruit juices instead take whole fruits.
  • Whole grains are main support to our body system. If it’s taken in a proper amount its more useful for our body. Whole grains like barley, brown rice, quinoa, oats etc. are more beneficial elements.
  • Carbohydrates, it will increase the risk and it’s a bad food. This is the view of the people. But good carbs all always welcomed by our body. Choose only good carbs.
  • Proteins and fats are also good, but if it is good protein and fats. Good fat presents in chicken, egg etc. please avoid red meat it contains bad fat too.
  • Pulses and cereals are spices rich in proteins mainly. Proteins are the main energy which is healthy to be taken always.
  • Dairy products are good in calcium it must be taken for sure but with no fat or less fat.
    Nuts contain good fat and it also has the power to burn bad fat from our body. Macadamia is a nut which is very much helpful to reduce the risk of diabetes.
  • Take all types of herbs in a daily life basis. It purifies our body and removes unwanted toxins from our body. Tulsi leaves, garlic, ginger, coriander etc. are some herbs that you can take.
  • Green tea, I take this very seriously because recent researches shows green tea is lively medicine for sugar, cholesterol etc. I request all to have at least single cup daily.

May be the above foods are safer for diabetes patients. But the main way to reduce the risk of diabetes or from any issues is to eat healthy and know what you are eating and is it friendly to your body. Make it Simple to live happily.
